but i vomited.

Shopped around there and he got me a purple bell!!
*I think he felt guilty!!!! muahahahha*

Met Leon, Jovan and gang for a little gathering.
Was chatting about rubbish throughout the night.

As Usual, that Leon asked me to trim my hair and do treatment...
well, he is a hairstylist,
what do you expect?
but he is a fun guy to mix with though.

btw LEON STOP ASKING!! lol.

Well.. went home after a full day of activities!! tired.

Went to Singapore Biennale 2008 today!

Was Interesting !
Went to 2 locations, City Hall and South Bridge Development.

City Hall:

I got to see all these Amazing art pieces!!!!!

ONE
Artist: Ben-David, Zadok
Title: Blackfield 2008

It is a sand field covered with thousands of small metallic plants.























































































It is 2-sided.
Black and Coloured.

Black portrays a dull and burnt landscape whereas the coloured side shows vibrant and cheerfulness.


TWO
Artist: Han, Jong-Gun
Title: Evolutional Mythology, 2007

Han Jong-Gun has created gourds that resemble human faces!

There are 2 types:
1) Bottled like a specimen
2) Dried up on the shelf

The Artist took a year to nurture and shaped them everyday till it shows human resemblance.
There are 4 different facial expressions-Smiley, Angry, Happy and Sad.





































































THREE
Artist: Lee, Jane
Title: Raw Canvas, 2008

It is an abstract painting using Acrylic paints to texture itself to look like a fabric cloth.






































FOUR
Artist: Pimkanchanapong, Wit
Title: Singapore, 2008

The floor features the scale map of Singapore, the artists encourages the public to write their message on a memo and stick it onto the map.

Artist: Rhee, Ki-Bong
Title: Bachelor - The Dual Body, 2003

This book of Philosophy is thrown into water, it is made of leather to endure long periods in water. The book looks like it is dancing suggesting that the Western logical thought is having fun.
(its kinda chim -.-")




SIX
Artist:Varini, Felice
Title: "Drill Hall", Singapore Biennale 2008

It is an illusions that occur in three-dimensional interior spaces.























































The walls are painted in broken lines, however, the artist has made it such that by standing on a single point, the lines looks connected and portrays a 2D look.


SEVEN
Artist: Zhan Wang
Title: Stone to fill the Sky, 2001-2008

It is an oddly shaped steel rock with reflective surface and it is suspended in mid-air.
The artist's work betrays one's common sense and logic.
(How can a big heavy rock float in the air?)

I'm guessing its some sort of magnetic force that is causing it to float. humm..

Went to Chapter 2 for a haircut today~

Hairdresser: Jay !!! (My Favourite hairdresser!)
Hair Colour: Dark Brown- Close to black..
Haircut: I Cut off my long FRINGE!

Its at eyebrown level now X)
Was not too bad after all.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUGUST BABIES!!!!

there are quite a number of August babies among my circle of poly friends.

well~
Today went to celebrate their Birthdayssssss..

We had..
BBQ!! well there are still a lot of food left at the end of the day~
(Think of the Kids in Africa T.T)

The guys,
Crazy!! they played in the pool as if they just know the existence of Swimming Pool in this world~
The power puff gals and Nicole were being splashed by CASTALOS! dammnnn..

Overall-
Quite Fun =)


PS:

Yesterday was Joanne's Birthday!!
Went to fish and co to celebrate..
We made her stand on the chair while we sang birthday song for her .. HAHAHA!!

After that she left~
But the rest of us went to watch the Korea Fireworks at Esplanade!!
SHOIK!!!

Tomorrow i'm returning to work T.T
